Wednesday...........

Hi!! I have been working today and I have just arrived home to a quite house. The guys are all at baseball practice. Today was a good day at work and Everyone in our house is over the bug, just left us all a little worn out. I stopped and picked up wings for supper soo... no cooking!! I am about to go collapse on the couch and watch a little tube before I retire early!!! I hope everyone had a good day. Things are brighter than they seem.
I have posted a rose from the bush in my front yard. The bush was a gift from my land lord to her daddy several years back, he has since passed on but the rose is a reminder of our loved ones lost. I thought I would include it in my post to day as a thank you to John and Marcey for the kind of person he was and the awesome daughter he put on this earth. Thanks Marcey!!! And I miss you Momma!!

Casey and Garrett...

These two are not used to warming the bench you can tell by there faces, but I wa good a coaxing a smile from them...

Garrett is our ace pitcher and Casey is the first string catcher. They are truly good playersbut, everyone has to sit on the bench sometimes!!!! This was their time. GArrett pitchewd great Sunday and Caseys catching was right on. We won both games on Sunday. Go Bulldogs!!!!!!!!!

Weekend Over....

I was off all weekend... Our travel ball team had it's first tournament of the year... We lost two games but, we won two games so we are 500... right? We looked pretty good, it is gonna take a few more organized games for all the players to mesh together. We had a practice tourney a couple of weekends ago, that helped us too.
Now the stomach bug has hit our house wide open with 2 of us being knocked by it, 2 more of us to go. I do not know why byt, usually one of us is fortunate enough not to get sick... lets hope, ok???
The middle school team is being honored at the high school baseball game tomorrow night, I will have to miss it because of work but, I am gonna see if Dean will take some pictures for me... I love pictures they are they key to memories....
HAve a good day... I am going to send more time being nurse and momma...

Friday ... Champion ship game...

Well, we lost to woodland 6-3 in the chapion ship game. It was a good agame, a few questionable calls, but most games have them. We are glad the championship team is from our county. Garrett pitched an awesome game for Woodland, he plays on my husbands travel team. Casey found it hard to bat off him because he is one of Dawgs best buddies. Watch out for us next year we will be ready!!!



We start our traveling season tomorrow, in Dalton at Al Rollins field. It is a round Robin tournament so you have to play to win all 4 games. We are ready. Gaerrett will have to take Saturday off piching but hopefully he will be ready for Sunday. I will update you over the weekend.



Awesome season Tigers, we will get them next year!! Here is a picture of our boys on their field trip to Alabama over spring break!! Thay had a blast.

Casey is the far one on the right second roll, grey tshirt and shorts with green hightops!! Thay are a great team and we are all proud!!

Thursday........Game day....

We Won!!!!!!!! Adairsvilee Middle School 5 Calhoun MS 3!!! We play in the championship game Friday @ 6:30pm!!!!!!!!!!!! We beat the number 1 seed!! Go Tigers!!!! Our guys wanted you could see it on their faces. In the bottom of the 6th inning Casey took his catchers helment up and it was sitting on the top of his head. He looked at Tristin and smiled from ear to ear. There were 2 outs and you could just seeee.... How bad he wanted it. They all played hard and it was a wonderful team effort. Dylan and Tristin both pitched great they made Casey's job behind the plate look easy.

One of the girls at work are swapping with me tomorrow so I can get off work in time to see the game, Thanks Hannah. Today was great, its getting late and I am headed to bed. More news Later...........

Wednesday........

Well, it has been a week since I have posted. I have been really busy. I worked today and missed my son Casey's 1st game in the middle school tournament. I say 1st because it is single elimanation and we won!!!! 13-2!!!!!!!! We play game 2 tomorrow night at 6:30 against number one ranked Calhoun. We have got this!! Positive attitude is everything!!!

We are all good. I have to work tomorrow, got my taxes filed today. So I have done my part. I am going to bed soon, so I can be ready for tomorrow. Later....

Wednesday..........

I just got home from work. The boys did not clean up after thierselves today so... I guess I get elected to do it. They are at the ball park. The traveling team has practice til 8:30 so I ham gonna get off here and enjoy a quite house!! Today was good and I found out I am off Sunday so... hooray!!!
